Periodontal Prosthesis Residency

Clinical Education

Through the program’s clinical education, students are exposed to the latest periodontic and prosthodontic procedures. Besides completing all of the necessary clinical requirements for certification in periodontics, students are required to complete at least 12 to 14 advanced restorations (in addition to single units and quadrant restorations). In addition, advanced implant restorations and treatment planning for surgical and prosthetic reconstruction have become a fundamental aspect of the program. Students work in both an outpatient clinic and hospital setting for their clinical instruction. The program also includes student visitation to various prosthodontic practices, where they can observe all types of techniques and procedures.
