All application requirements, including examination results, must reach our office by December 22, 2006 at 5:00 p.m., to receive consideration for April 2007. Mail the application form and requirements to:
Program for Advanced Standing Students
Office of International Relations
The Robert Schattner Center
University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine
240 S. 40th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19104-6003

The office cannot be held liable for any delays caused by the U.S. Postal Services or other mail delivery systems. Applicants are therefore advised to complete the required examinations for National Dental Boards early. It is advised to use a special courier service if you are mailing your forms after December 15, 2006, to ensure timely delivery. Only complete applications will be reviewed. Please make sure that you have all the requirements before submission. Late applications or incomplete applications will not be considered.

While an interview does not guarantee acceptance, applicants with satisfactory requirements are required to appear for an all-day interview session. This session includes three personal interviews, orientation to the PASS Program, lunch, tour of the dental school, and information regarding financial aid. All original documents must be available for review on the interview day. Interviews are conducted between September 2006 and February 2007.

Tuition

Please refer to the tuition costs for 3rd- and 4th-year DMD students.

Financial Aid
Permanent residents and citizens of the United States are eligible for financial assistance in the form of government-sponsored loans. Unfortunately, the School of Dental Medicine is unable to offer financial aid to those who have residency outside of the United States - this includes loans, scholarships and/or assistantships. Foreign students who are accepted into the PASS Program must show proof of adequate personal financial resources for the full two years of study before an I-20 for a student visa application is issued. Further information regarding educational costs is provided during the interview session.
