Beginning in 2007, the Dental Hygiene Reunion moves from Friday to Saturday of Alumni Weekend! All the Dental School's alumni will now celebrate together their pride in Penn Dental Medicine.
In addition to the events below, Dental Hygiene alumni are encouraged to participate in the Dental School's and the University's events for all alumni. To register for these events and all other School events, please register online or use the registration form in the Alumni Weekend brochure.

"Energizing Access to Care: Options in Community Collaboration"(1.75 CEU)

Explore the next level of care; discover who, how and where our colleagues are making a difference. As the demographics shift and the economy swings, many of our marginal communities will be unable to access dental care in private practice. Treatment delivery options and collaborative models that facilitate access to preventive and restorative oral health for these rapidly growing communities will be discussed.

Judy Gelinas, R.D.H., B.S., is manager of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, which provides dental screening and care for children in the St. Christopher's Hospital for Children community.
Dr. Joan I. Gluch, R.D.H., Ph.D., (GR'92) is director of Community Health and adjunct associate professor in the Division of Pediatrics and Community Health in Penn Dental Medicine's Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences.
Cheryl H. Janssen, B.S.H., C.N.P., is executive director of Kids Smiles Dental Center and a member of the Chester County, Pa., Community Dental Center Board.
Lisa Solden Schildhorn, R.D.H., B.S., (DH'75) is president of LSS Inc., Dental Team Consultants, president of the Kids Smiles Dental Center Board of Directors, and is an active volunteer with the Philadelphia Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Dr. Jaclyn Gleber, R.D.H., Ph.D., (DH'74) is Dental Education and Outreach Coordinator for Chester County, Pa., president-elect of the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association, and president of the Penn Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Alumni Association.
