Penn Endo Clinic Open House & CDE

On January 7, 2013, the new Syngcuk Kim Endodontic Clinic of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine opened its doors to provide excellent patient care to the community, serve as a new environment for learning, teaching, first-rate clinical research, and a great venue for continuing education. The new clinic is a high-tech setting for endodontic instruction and patient treatment within the school’s Postgraduate Endodontic Program and is renowned for its excellence.

Penn’s endodontic clinic has long been open for outside referrals for root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, as well as endodontic surgery. The new facilities, with dental operating microscopes, digital x-ray units, and live observation capabilities in all specialized endodontic treatment bays are now more than ever a state-of-the-art setting for clinical excellence. In addition, the clinic is equipped with CBCT.

The clinic particularly aims to help patients who are willing to save their natural teeth, but who are not able to make the financial commitments in private practice. Referring to the Syngcuk Kim Endodontic Clinic not only helps these patients and serves the local community, but also guarantees patient flow to the Postgraduate Endodontic Program to ensure the education of well-trained endodontists for generations to come.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm for an evening of free continuing education on “Modern Endodontic Therapy” (2 CDE credits) open to general dentists practicing in the Philadelphia area. We, Penn Endo, are committed to excellence in endodontic treatment, and we wish to be your valuable resource in saving teeth.
