Dr. Ernesto A. Lee is Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics and serves as Director of the Postdoctoral Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics Program at Penn Dental Medicine. Dr. Lee is also the former Director of the Implantology Center at Temple University School of Dentistry and a Visiting Professor in the Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry Program at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee is a native of Panama, where he graduated from the University of Panama School of Dentistry. He subsequently attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics.
Dr. Lee has over 25 publications including journal articles, chapters and textbook contributions. Additionally, he is a member of several editorial boards and professional organizations. His research interests include Interdisciplinary Esthetics, Implant Dentistry, and CAD/CAM technology. Dr. Lee has lectured before the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Lee’s practice is located in Bryn Mawr, Pa.; a suburb of Philadelphia, and is limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, with an emphasis on Esthetics.
