Research Interests

Dr. Hajishengallis is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Penn Dental Medicine. Her basic science interests involve the interactions of the periodontopathogen Porphyromonas gingivalis with the innate immune system. Her clinical research interests are focused on the behavior guidance of the pediatric patient and the medical awareness of the pediatric dentist.
