Research Interests

In addition to Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Baumgarten also maintains a practice that includes advanced dental implant procedures, such as Immediate Implant Placement with Immediate Restoration and CAT Scan Guided Surgery. He is a consultant to Zimmer Biomet & Southern Implants, global dental implant companies, and is involved in clinical research and product development. 

An active invited speaker, Dr. Baumgarten lectures regularly around the world, from New York to Tokyo. He’s also the author of a variety of chapters in dental textbooks, and a number of articles in peer reviewed journals. 

Dr. Baumgarten is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association and the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
