Dr. Hendler is Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery-Clinician Educator. Dr. Hendler received his dental degree from Temple University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (MCP). He completed an internship in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at MCP and residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital. A pioneer in temporomandibular joint laser arthroscopy, Dr. Hendler has published and lectured extensively. Dr. Hendler serves as medical director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery faculty practices as well as Director of Postgraduate medical education at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Hendler has long maintained an interest in hair restoration procedures and directs Penn's OMS/Cosmetic Surgery Associates' satellite practice. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and past President of the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
