Penn Dental Medicine offers a range of continuing dental education programs built around quality, access, and relevance for practicing dentists and dental hygienists.

Continuing education credits may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his/her state licensing board. Please check with your state licensing board to ensure that a particular course will meet your continuing education requirements.

Weather Emergencies/Cancellations
Unless specifically stated, CDE courses are located on or near campus, in the city of Philadelphia. It is very unusual for the University to close due to weather, even when public schools are closed. If a course must be cancelled due to a weather emergency, an announcement will be made on the dedicated continuing dental education information line at: 1-(866) PENN-CDE.
