Dr. Lee Durst is a general dentist. Her concentration is in preventive and restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, implant restorations and complete and partial dentures.
After receiving her DMD from the School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Durst opened and ran a private, general and cosmetic, neighborhood practice for over 27 years in the East Falls section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then joined the Penn Dental Faculty Practice. She is also a Clinical Associate in the Community Oral Health Department of the School of Dental Medicine and a Director of the Penn Dental and Penn Nursing School joint venture program at the Geriatric Life Center in West Philadelphia where she treats geriatric patients and teaches/mentors Penn dental school students in the treatment of these patients.
Originally from New York, Lee and her husband, Richard, a real estate and finance attorney in Philadelphia, raised their three children in Merion. Now that their children are off living purposeful and fulfilling lives, Lee and Richard live in Center City. Lee is active with the Caron Foundation and various other charitable institutions and causes. She is a competitive tennis player and also enjoys swimming, sailing, travel and entertaining.
