Dr. Keisuke Wada is a periodontist and Director of Implant Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He teaches pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students in the clinic. Dr. Wada specializes in periodontal surgery, including pocket elimination and soft tissue grafting for gum recession. He also specializes in bone regeneration procedure for periodontal disease and dental implant therapy.
After receiving his DDS from Hiroshima University in Japan, Dr. Wada received his certificate in periodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as Doctoral degree regarding bone tissue engineering. After finishing his residency, he joined University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as an academic clinician.
It has been 5 years since he moved from Boston, and now Dr. Wada feels Philadelphia is a second home. He lives with his wife and three-year old son, who likes playing soccer with his father.
