Emergency Care Clinic

The Emergency Care Clinic is open Monday through Friday for a limited number of new patients.

The emergency evaluation costs $45.00, and includes an examination and one x-ray. There are additional fees for treatment. Patients may be treated at the time of their visit, or may be scheduled for treatment at a later date.

If you are already a patient at the Dental School, and unable to contact your student dentist, emergency treatment is available in the Main Clinic, located in the Evans Building at 4001 Spruce Street, Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m., September through June and Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. during the months of July and August. If your dental emergency is after 5 p.m. or during the weekend and you are unable to reach your dental student please call 215-898-8961 to be connected to our after hours emergency answering service.

The Emergency Care Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of the Robert Schattner Center, 240 South 40th Street. If you need to contact the Emergency Care Clinic staff during normal hours of operation, call
215-898-8965. If you are experiencing a dental emergency outside of the Emergency Care Clinic hours of operation, you should report to the nearest emergency room facility.
