Description

New treatment options and materials have been introduced to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in recent years. The aim of this didactic and hands-on course is to present advantages of modern treatment modalities, and realistic short and long-term expectations of these new techniques and materials.

Educational Objectives:

At the end of this course, clinicians should be to know, understand and perform:

  • Rationale for new materials and techniques
  • Perform LASSO GBR
  • Rationale behind osseodensification
  • Bone instrumentation for maximum tissue preservation
  • Material selection based on material properties and features
  • Implant selection based on site-specific design
