If a Registration Refund, Substitution and Cancellation Policy is not specifically stated on the registration fee page for the course, written refund requests (minus a $50 administration fee or 20%, whichever is less) will be honored if received by four working days prior to a given course. Penn Dental Medicine is not responsible for the refund of any part of the tuiton as a reuslt of emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, events beyond its control, or no-shows.
Continuing education credits may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his/her state licensing board. Please check with your state licensing board to ensure that a particular course will meet your continuing education requirements. All formal CDE courses will include on-site credit award slips.
The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
The continuing dental education courses offered through Penn Dental Medicine do not necessarily represent the philosophy of the School and sponsorship of these courses does not imply subject matter, product, or technique endorsement. Penn Dental Medicine reserves the right to cancel or postpone any courses, modify the announced course content, limit enrollment, or change the location, time, date, or speakers due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that Penn Dental Medicine cancels a program, the registrant will receive a refund or credit toward another continuing education course.

Photographing, recording or videotaping any continuing education program at the dental school is not allowed without advance written permission from Penn Dental Medicine. From time to time, a photographer may be present and taking photographs of various courses, instructors and attendees for marketing and advertising purposes. Participants not wishing to be photographed should inform the course director, photographer or the Penm Dental Medicine staff.
