Descripción de las Conferencias

Análisis Estético No matter what dental material or treatment protocol is applied, successful esthetic clinical outcomes are impossible without an understanding of fundamental esthetic treatment planning guidelines. And it is not just the “knowledge” of these guidelines, but even more so the actual application of esthetic principles in daily clinical practice that will lead to success. This presentation will review dental esthetic parameters and guide participants through the “Esthetic Analysis” as a prerequisite for esthetic treatment planning and “smile design”.

Protocolo de Fotografia Dental This lecture will demonstrate the importance of documentation in modern dentistry based on simple protocols providing the patient with better visual, dynamic and emotional communication methods. A detailed description on how to use simple equipment and instruments to produce high quality photos and videos of our patients will be presented.

Técnica de Inyección con Resina Fluida The necessity for full mouth rehabilitations in young adults caused by non-carious lesions is a common challenge for clinicians. A dilemma on “preparing or not” these teeth for indirect ceramic restorations is also a frequent challenge added to the thorough decision process that full mouth rehabilitations require.
A different approach for restoring teeth suffering from erosion and bruxism utilizing the flowable injection technique in combination with prosthodontic, occlusion and esthetic concepts will be presented in a step-by-step manner so dentists can incorporate this technique into their armamentarium.

Actualización en Cerámicas The recent evolution in ceramic technologies is breathtaking and offers a whole new range of esthetic, less invasive, and long-lasting treatment options in restorative and implant dentistry. However, there are many open questions and straight answers are hard to find. What are the best materials and treatment options for our patients considering the large variety of silica-based, high-strength, and hybrid ceramic materials available today? Do different ceramics require specific laboratory and clinical treatment to function properly in the mouth? Is all zirconia the same? How to cement different ceramics? What are the best materials to restore dental implants? And, in this age of “evidence-based dentistry”, what is the scientific evidence on all of these topics? This presentation will answer such questions in an unbiased manner and provide an update on esthetic treatment options with ceramics from conservative laminate veneers to implant-supported full-mouth rehabilitations.

Flujo de Trabajo Clínico con Odontologia Digital Intraoral scanners and dental materials are constantly changing and with the advancement of research clinicians have more alternatives to choose from. This lecture will describe the latest ceramic materials available for Chairside CAD-CAM technology, with different clinical workflows. From partial coverage restorations, single-unit implant and tooth-supported restorations to monolithic FDP’s their respective adhesive cementation concepts and clinical tips will be presented.

Carillas de Porcelana; Técnica SKIN The ultimate goal for anterior porcelain veneers is to mimic natural morphology as much possible. With new advances in CAD/CAM software and specific clinical protocols, clinicians are now able to CLONE natural macro and micro dental morphology. A step-by-step protocol with different workflows of the SKIN Concept will be presented, from the diagnostic and planning phase to the finishing and cementation process of the porcelain veneers. This lecture will also enable participants to select the correct donor teeth shape and sizes to properly design and print natural mock-ups for patient communication and elaboration of preparation guides without a conventional wax-up.

El Paciente Digital During this lecture, participants will get exposed to professional 3D designing software for all aspects in digital dentistry. Starting with the importance of digital case set-up, generate accurate and useful information for all further steps in the digital design process. Implementation of 3D Face scan technology for predictable esthetic outcomes will also be presented. Participants will also learn about the importance of how to match and superimpose different file types and use the gathered information to create and design your own digital esthetic case.

Predictibilidad en Implantologia: Rehabilitaciones Complejas de Arco-completo con o sin Injertos Oseos The multidisciplinary management of complex full arch/mouth rehabilitations has evolved significantly in recent years in order to improve treatment predictability, esthetics and function. This lecture will describe different treatment guides through step-by-step sequences, involving some of the latest surgical and prosthodontic treatment options backed an discussed with both scientific data and different clinical scenarios while comparing new products and solutions that can be implemented in our daily practice with the goal of improving our results tomorrow.

Predictibilidad en Implantologia: Implantes Unitarios en la Zona Estética This lecture will describe the different key surgical and prosthodontic aspects needed to obtain predictable and long lasting esthetic results in single implant restorations placed in the esthetic zone through both a step-by-step process and a comparison of different contemporary approaches.

Selección de Materiales y Protocolo de 3 Pasos para Restauraciones de Arco-completo The 3 simple step protocol will be the main topic of discussion. This lecture will share from planning to final delivery of a full arch treatment, the preparation and each visit’s objectives to achieve best results eliminating appointments for a major case. Our industry’s many material options in 2018 will be explained with pros, cons and indications to make the best decision of combinations per patient.

Sonrisas en 1 dia: De lo Digital a lo Artístico This lecture will illustrate proper planning to achieve precise, esthetic smile makeover using CAD/CAM technology and hands on artistry. Learn how to take advantage of “Golden Time” when patient is in the chair to confront each and every case on the spot.
