Markus B. Blatz

Dr. Markus B. Blatz is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he also founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. Dr. Blatz graduated from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany, and was awarded additional Doctorate Degrees, a Postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Professorship from the same University. Dr. Blatz is co-founder and immediate past President of the International Academy for Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD). He is a Board-certified Diplomat in the German Society for Prosthodontics and Biomaterials (DGPro) and a member of multiple other professional organizations. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous recognized scientific dental journals. He is coauthor of the international bestseller “evolution – contemporary protocols for anterior single-tooth implants”. Dr. Blatz is the recipient of multiple teaching and research awards and has published and lectured extensively on dental esthetics, restorative materials, and implant dentistry.

Michael Bergler

Michael Bergler, MDT, is internationally recognized in the area of esthetic ceramic restorations and CAD/CAM-technology. Furthermore he is co founder of the CAD/CAM-Ceramic-Center at University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He has published and lectured extensively on restorative materials and dental technology. In July 2013 he received a faculty position in the Department of Restorative & Preventive Sciences. Mr. Bergler is an active member of the International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM). He trained in Germany at the University of Erlangen-Nurnberg, Department of Prosthodontics, and earned his Certificate of Master Dental Technician (MDT) at the Masterschool of Freiburg, Germany.

Christian Coachman

Dr. Christian Coachman graduated in Dental Technology in 1995 and in Dentistry at the University of São Paulo/Brazil in 2002. Moreover, Dr. Coachman attended the Ceramic Specialization Program at the Ceramoart Training Center, where he also became an instructor. In 2004, Dr. Coachman was invited by Dr. Goldstein, Garber, and Salama, of Team Atlanta, to become Head Ceramist of their laboratory, a position he held for over 4 years. Dr. Coachman worked with many leading dentists around the world as Dr Van Dooren (Belgium), Gurel (Turkey), Fradeani (Italy), Bichacho (Israel), Ricci (Italy) and Calamita (Brazil).

Dr. Coachman divides his time between his family Dental Clinic in Sao Paulo-Brasil, together with his father and brother, and the Digital Smile Design HQ in Madrid, Spain. He is the Director of the DSD Residency program with continuing education courses for dental professionals from all over the world. Also works as a consultant for Dental companies and offices, developing products and implementing concepts and has lectured and published internationally in the fields of esthetic dentistry, dental photography, oral rehabilitation, dental ceramics and implants. He is a member of the Brazilian and American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is the developer of techniques as the Pink Hybrid Implant Restoration, the Digital Smile Design and the Virtual Lab concepts.

Julián Conejo

Julián obtained his DDS from the Universidad Latina in Costa Rica, and then completed training as a specialist in Prosthodontics at the Universidad Intercontinental, Mexico City. He has been a clinical professor at the Universidad Latina (2010-2015) and a visiting professor at the Universidad Intercontinental. He received the Young Clinician Award at the Nobel Biocare World Tour, in Mexico City, 2008 and the ICP Research Fellowship Award in 2016. He is a certified clinical CAD-CAM Trainer with lecturing experience in 25 countries and author of multiple publications on the topic of dental ceramics and CAD-CAM technologies. Dr. Conejo serves as Clinical CAD/CAM Director at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Brian LeSage

Dr. Brian P. LeSage graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1983. Dr. LeSage has actively integrated academic pursuits with a private practice, for the last 24 years in Beverly Hills, California, emphasizing aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry.

Dr. LeSage is one of 350 accredited cosmetic dentists in the worldwide American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In 1995, he was appointed a Consultant and Examiner for the AACD accreditation process. He was awarded the status of Fellow in the AACD, in 2002, and was acting Fellowship Chair for the academy for ten years. He was awarded the Excellence in Cosmetic Dental Education Award by the academy in 2009, and was inducted as a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry also in 2009. He was awarded fellowship in 2014 with The AAED.

Neimar Sartori

Dr. Sartori is an assistant professor of clinical dentistry, Division of Restorative Sciences, at the University of Southern California, as well as assistant director of the Advanced Program in Advanced Operative and Adhesive Dentistry since 2013. He is the course director for the Operative and Esthetic Dentistry module, as well as Advanced Dental Morphology for Esthetic Restorations and Applied Adhesion Sciences. He also serves as an associate editor of Quintessence of Dental Technology. Dr. Sartori received his DDS degree in 2005, MS and certificate in operative dentistry in 2008, and his PhD in Dentistry Biomaterials in 2011 from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. He was a visiting Research Scholar at Case Western Reserve University in 2010 and at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2011.
