Endodontic-Orthodontic Relationships

This lecture is designed to address the relationship of orthodontic treatment to endodontic treatment, along with presenting combined treatment models.

Overview of internal bleaching agents, techniques, complications, and prognosis

  • Evaluate clinical cases suitable for internal bleaching
  • Understand the pros and cons of different internal bleaching agents and techniques
  • Learn the internal bleaching procedure protocol following evidence-based dentistry
  • Recognize the risk of external cervical resorption and possible mechanisms of such consequence
Speaker

Justine Chiou, DMD, spent most of her formative years in Taiwan and metro Washington, DC. She received her BS degree from the University of Maryland and moved to Philadelphia for her training in dentistry. She received her DMD degree with several honors distinctions from the University of Pennsylvania. She continued her post-doctoral endodontics training at Penn and is currently a second-year endodontics resident. Upon graduation from the endodontics program, Dr. Chiou will transition into private practice in Boston.
