Course Description

Graduating from periodontal residency will create many opportunities in private practice. It can be difficult to determine which opportunity is best and this lecture will review some options based on personal experiences. A look into the future of referral based periodontal practice and how to grow a business in the ever changing dental climate will be discussed.

Learning Objectives

Participants will gain insight into what positions are available upon graduation and be better equipped to choose what is best for them.

Speaker

Dr. Amar Katranji graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2007. He began practicing in SE Michigan soon after and has experience as an associate, owner, partner, and has worked in corporate dentistry. He is one of the originators of Comprehensive Dental Institute, a facility focused on elevating the quality of continuing education.
