Additive Restorative Dentistry: A Minimal & Non-Invasive Approach to Dental Care

Course Description

The traditional current model in dentistry, influenced primarily by third party payers, offers only a “reactive” approach to restorative care. Most if not all conservative minimally & non-invasive treatment options are typically not “covered” expenses; and when they are, they are reimbursed at a rate that makes them unrealistic.

In this course a more “proactive” approach will be presented to better serve the patient population and to enhance the practices ability to operate more independently and profitably without the interference of third parties.

In addition to discussing the exact materials, techniques and clinical procedures, at the end, there will be time allocated to answer ‘real world’ questions as it relates to incorporating these procedures in everyday practice.

Learning Objectives
  • Understand the esthetic and biological benefits of re-mineralization.
  • Understand the value of resin infiltration to reverse white spots and prevent the advancement of inter-proximal caries.
  • Understand the true value of adhesive dentistry and the multiple ways in which it allows conservative dentistry
