Adhesive Dentistry Workflow: Maximising Success Through Small Details

Course Description

Faced with the requirements and evolution of modern dentistry, the clinician should be able to include in his daily practice up-to-date knowledge and techniques to provide conservative and adequate treatments.

This lecture aims to provide the participants with the most relevant, scientifically accurate and state-of-the-art information in the field of modern oral rehabilitation using adhesive procedures.
Using a very straight forward and clinically driven approach, special emphasis will be given to the systematisation of concepts, discerning between “fashion” and accurate scientific and clinic work. The main goal is allowing the participants to embark on a journey intended to provide them with enough knowledge to make a paradigm shift in their clinical practice the following day, providing them with tools to drastically improve their clinical work through simple and apparently minor changes.

Learning Objectives

After the lecture, participants shall be able to critically appraise:

  • the value and reality of digital dentistry
  • common errors in conventional impressions
  • adhesion to the tooth substrate
  • immediate dentin sealing
  • tooth surface for indirect restorations and adhesion
  • cementation techniques
