Come see and learn about a piece of history returning to Penn Dental Medicine.

Dr. Thomas Evans, a confidant of Napoleon III and his wife Empress Eugenie, used this carriage to spirit Empress Eugenie out of Paris to safety after the capture and imprisonment of her husband during the Franco-Prussian War in 1870. Originally part of the Evans Museum, it was back in France since the 1990s and now home to stay at Penn Dental Medicine.
