Dr. Effie Ioannidou is the current president of AAODCR, Chair of Orofacial Sciences at UCSF School of Dentistry as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the two AAP Journals: Journal of Periodontology and the Clinical Advances in Periodontics.  She is a founding member of the IADR Women in Science Network.
