White Coat Ceremony

We look forward to welcoming you to campus and the study of dental medicine with the Class of 2027 White Coat Ceremony, to be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 3 p.m. in Irvine Auditorium.

This annual tradition for incoming students of Penn Dental Medicine to accept their white coats is symbolic of their commitment to the practice of dentistry and the profession’s inherent responsibilities.

Family, friends, and faculty are invited to join the incoming class to celebrate the beginning of their dental education.

* Students should arrive at Irvine no later than 2:15 PM *

Guest Speaker: Jonise McDaniel, DDS,  the State Public Health Dental Director with the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Oral Health Program
