Tuition
Covers full-time attendance at Penn Dental Medicine.
General Fee
The general fee supports facilities such as the library systems, museums, and special laboratories, and access to University fitness facilities.
Instrument Fee
Charge for all required instrumentation and sterilization services.
Technology Fee
Established to advance and improve technology at Penn Dental Medicine.
Dental Clinical Fee
Covers a variety of expenses related to clinical and preclinical practice including disposable gowns, lab coats, materials and other expenses.
Room & Board
Allowance reflects an average cost of room and board.
Books & Supplies
Includes required textbooks, classroom supplies and lights and loupes.
Personal — Includes blood pressure monitor, stethoscope, computer allowance, cell phone allowance, immunization costs, etc.
Health Insurance & Clinic Fee
Covers the usage of Student Health Services.
Transportation
Covers expenses related to getting to and from school.
Permanent residents and U.S. citizens are eligible for financial assistance only in the form of government-sponsored loans. International students are eligible to apply for private educational loans but will need an approved U.S. citizen or permanent resident co-signer. International applicants who are accepted into the PASS Program must demonstrate proof of adequate personal financial resources for the full two and one half years of study before an I-20 student visa application can be issued.
