Ankita Shashikant Bhosale is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive & Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (PDM). Before joining the faculty in 2025, she served as Program Coordinator at PDM’s Center for Integrative Global Oral Health (CIGOH), where she contributed to projects relating to evidence synthesis, global oral health policy, and other education initiatives. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth in India and her Master of Public Health from the University of New Haven. Her research skills leverage her multidisciplinary background in oral health, public health, and data analytics to advance evidence-informed practices in oral health. Dr. Bhosale’s research interests include the intersection of population and public health in oral health policy, guideline development, and the implementation of living evidence syntheses for real-world impact. She co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and contributed to global convenings, including Global Oral Health Forums and a conference in collaboration with the WHO African Region exploring global strategies to promote oral health.
