Professional Biography

Dr. Ford is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He practices at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. After receiving both his dental and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to complete his surgical residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) and is regularly invited to give lectures on both the local and national level. Dr. Ford’s area of expertise includes dental implants, complex bone grafting, and anesthesia.
