Dr. Laird is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic and Translational Sciences. Prior to joining Penn Dental Medicine, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Anatomical Sciences at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is an early career editorial board member with the American Journal of Biological Anthropology and has served as a guest editor for the Philosophical Transactions B Theme Issue. Dr. Laird is a member of the American Association of Biological Anthropologists, the American Association of Anatomists, and the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology.
