Su-Min Lee, DDS, MSD, DScD

Professional Biography

Dr. Su-Min Lee’s research interests include the biology of the dental stem cells, regeneration of the dental pulp, dental tissue engineering, and biomaterials in Endodontics. She has further focused on the research demonstrating the availability and delivery of mesenchymal stem cells into the root canal system via intracanal bleeding and the correlation with clinical outcomes. Also, she is conducting in vitro and in vivo studies regulating the inflammatory niche and optimizing the immunomodulatory function of resident dental pulp stem cells to suppress inflammation and guide tissue regeneration in case of dental pulpitis.
