Application to the Master of Science in Oral Biology (MSOB) program is completed as an option concurrent with the ADEA PASS application to the specific postgraduate specialty program. Thus, interested applicants should include the MSOB as part of their clinical specialty program’s supplemental application – please see the respective specialty programs (Endodontics, Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Periodontics/Orthodontics, Periodontal Prosthesis and Prosthodontics) for application procedures.
Admission into the MSOB program will be granted by the respective Department.
Applicants should note that the MSOB does extend the postgraduate specialty program by one year with the MSOB research occurring primarily during that final year. Additional tuition will be assessed for the MSOB.
