Join us in Philadelphia – November 7-8, 2025!

The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and the Department of Periodontics are pleased to invite you to “The Evolution of a Paradigm: The Role of Teeth…in the Age of Implants,” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, November 7-8, 2025.

The 1 1/2 day symposium will focus on presenting classic periodontic and periodontal-prosthesis concepts alongside modern advancements. Topics will include the management of compromised dentitions, interdisciplinary treatment in orthodontics, periodontal influences, the peri-tooth environment and its impact on restorative dentistry, and the evolving role of implants in modern practice. In addition, we will explore the impact of genetic disorders on dental management, the peri-tooth environment, and emerging technologies like digital aligners.

In addition to being a world class Penn Program, the program/weekend will be in honor of the 70th anniversary of Penn Dental Medicine’s founding of the Department of Periodontics and its Perio and Perio-Pros programs. It will be a special time for alumni and friends to gather in Philadelphia.
