The Center for Integrative Global Oral Health unites health researchers, educators and practitioners at the University of Pennsylvania and beyond in seeking creative solutions to address unmet oral health needs related to the worldwide prevalence of caries, periodontal disease, oral cancer and craniofacial deformity which impacts more than 3.5 billion people annually.

4th Global Oral Health & Climate Action Conference Program
Running Nov. 10-21 in conjunction with the COP30 Global Conference, the Conference provides an important opportunity for the oral health community to engage in a global discourse on climate change and creates a platform to raise awareness and knowledge about oral and planetary health, and the impact of climate change on dental research, education and practice.

Takeaways on New Dental Pain Management Guideline
In collaboration with the American Dental Association and University of Pittsburgh, Penn Dental Medicine’s Center for Integrative Global Oral Health has developed a new guideline for managing acute dental pain in adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Mission
- Develop and mentor leaders and researchers in oral and population health;
- Develop and mentor leaders and researchers in health policy and advocacy;
- Lead and implement advocacy to increase affordability, availability and accessibility for oral health regionally/nationally and globally;
- Create and disseminate transdisciplinary globally generated evidence-informed guidelines and policies;
- foster and coordinate a community of implementation research.
