Ethics, Jurisprudence, and Cultural Competence is a mixed-methods course designed to introduce and solidify best practices in patient interaction, practice management, and considerations around ethical and inclusive treatment of all patients.

This course is designed to expose students to modern concepts in clinical care, with the objective of updating and expanding their knowledge of anatomy/embryology, pharmacology, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, oral medicine, orofacial pain, and nutrition.

The course covers the basic biologic aspects of wound healing in a more clinical context covering the topics of fracture repair, osseointegration, orthodontics, and periodontics.
This conference based course provides an understanding of the sequential management of multidisciplinary cases from a diagnostic and treatment basis.
