Attendees of “Water Fluoridation: Separating Myths from the Facts” may receive up to the following hours of CE credits:

Continuing education credits may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his/her state licensing board. Please check with your state licensing board to ensure that a particular course will meet your continuing education requirements.

Obtaining CDE Credits

  1. Start by setting up an account on the Penn Dental Medicine Continuing Education portal at https://cde.dental.upenn.edu. Need assistance? Feel free to reach out to PDMContinuingEd@dental.upenn.edu for confirmation.
  2. Sign in using your username and password.
  3. Access your Profile by clicking on the person icon located in the upper right corner.
  4. Select the “Course & Payment History” option.
  5. Identify the course you completed, such as “Management of a Cracked Tooth: What We Know and How to Treat.”
  6. If you haven’t yet taken the course assessment, click on the “Go To Course Assessment” button. Once you’ve successfully completed and passed the assessment, the “Go to Certificate” button will become available.
    NOTE: For courses that offer free viewing but require payment for continuing education credits, you’ll be guided through the payment process after completing the assessment, before gaining access to download and print your credits form.
  7. Finally, click on the “Print” button to obtain your continuing education credits form.
