Abstract Submission


You are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation at Ameloblastoma: The Evolution of our Understanding and Contemporary Considerations.

General Rules and Guidelines for Abstract

  • The online submission site must be used for abstract submission.
  • Individuals may co-author different abstracts but can only present one abstract.
  • If selected for presentation, presenters must disclose any conflict of interest.

Abstract Submission

Title: Abstract titles are limited to 12 words. First letter of each word should be capitalized unless there is a preposition. Italicize as appropriate.

Authors: Authors names should be capitalized and entered as follows: last name, first name and middle initial. Affiliations must be listed. List the presenting author’s information under Contact Information. All graduate student and postdoc abstracts must include their mentor as co-author.

Text: Abstracts are limited to 400 words. Do not include the title, authors, or references in the text. Graphics and tables are not allowed. Sponsor, funding agency and grant number should be included in the “SUPPORT” field. Text should be divided into the following titles:

a. Rationale – Emphasize rationale for study
b. Materials and Methods – Briefly describe methodology and experimental design
c. Results – Briefly describe data
d. Conclusions – Discuss data and conclusions
e. Clinical Significance – Discuss potential usefulness/relevance of data




Important Dates to Remember
Abstract Submission Deadline: *EXTENDED* Sunday, March 1, 2020, 11:59 PM EST
Abstract Notification Emailed to Presenters: Abstracts will be considered on a rolling basis until capacity – please submit early if interested. After submission, abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified of decisions, where possible within 7-10 days.
Registration Deadline: The presenting author must register and pay the registration fee by Friday, March 6, 2020, 11:59 PM EST. PLEASE NOTE: registration is required in order to be included in the program, to have the abstract published in the online “Book of Abstracts.”
