Mikey Faulkner Dental Care Center
This Care Center is a partnership with Woods Services, a Pennsylvania- and New Jersey-based nonprofit organization that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. The Center is located within Woods’ Langhorne, Pa., campus. Postdoctoral students and faculty from Penn Dental Medicine’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program provide general restorative dental care in the Center, which features five dental operatories, quiet space for those needing a lower-stimulation environment, a waiting area and reception check-in, and conference room. The Center serves residents, clients, and staff of Woods Services as well as the surrounding disability community.
