Internships
A one-year non-categorical internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is available to DMD/DDS graduates. Five funded positions are available each year. The interns’ responsibilities are preoperative evaluation, inpatient and outpatient care, admissions, and full participation in departmental academic activities, preparing them for further advancement in oral and maxillofacial surgery training. Graduating interns have continued their training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at major academic centers nationwide.
